Winning over 30 awards to date, including ELLE Deco International Design Award for the second consecutive year in 2019, British Designer of the Year, and The Queen’s Award for Enterprise presented by Her Majesty The Queen in 2015, the past 12 years have seen the brand grow at an unprecedented rate. Alex Mustonen, partner and co-founder of Snarkitecture, is a graduate of the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Snarkitecture is a New York-based design practice dedicated to reimagining the familiar. The studio collaborates with cultural, commercial and private clients around the world to design memorable spaces, experiences and objects. With a focus on sensory experience, Snarkitecture works across scales and typologies, including retail, hospitality, residential, collectible design, and object collaborations.

Mark Janson is the co-founder of the architecture and interior design firm Janson Scuro LLP. The firm was founded in 1995 and creates projects for retail, hospitality, residential and commercial clients. The cross-pollination of ideas across disciplines and typologies is our foundational principal. Current projects include residences in Boston, Connecticut and the Hudson Valley, a flagship watch and jewelry brand on Newbury Street in Boston and Elyse Walker boutiques on Madison Avenue and in the Napa Valley.

Ece Calguner Erzan is a Design Principal and Interior Design Studio Head at SOM's New York office. She directs global, multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of complex, large-scale projects ranging from luxury hotels and condominiums, to workplace and headquarters. Ece’s strong design background in architecture and interiors generates a unique and holistic design solution for each building from inside out, as much as outside in.

Koray Duman, is originally from Turkey, where he earned a BA from Middle Eastern Technical University. Koray furthered his studies at UCLA Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design with a master’s degree in Architecture. He previously worked as the lead architect on several west coast museum projects. In 2013, he established B-KD, a research-driven architecture and design studio based in New York City and Istanbul. B-KD has designed and executed projects for MoMA PS1 Museum, Finnish Cultural Institute NY, the Noguchi Museum, Istanbul Biennale, artist Richard Prince, and the American Society for Muslim Advancement, among other cultural visioners and forward-thinking clients. In 2017, Architizer honored B-KD as Emerging Firm of the Year for ‘its forward-thinking vision for the role of the architect and the desire to disrupt the stigma of the practice.’ B-KD is an immigrant and LGBTQ-owned company with a team of architects representing diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Dan Wood FAIA co-founded WORKac in 2003 with Amale Andraos. He is a Principal of the firm, a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and the Former Vice President for Design Excellence of the New York Chapter of the AIA. Wood is a licensed architect in the States of New York, Rhode Island, and Colorado and is LEED certified. Wood has taught extensively, including at Yale University, where he will teach in the fall of 2023. He held the 2017 Frank Gehry International Visiting Chair in Architectural Design at the University of Toronto and the 2013–14 Louis I. Kahn Chair at the Yale School of Architecture. He also held both the Trott and Baumer Visiting Professorships at Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture and the Friedman Professorship at UC Berkeley.

Amale Andraos HFRAIC co-founded WORKac in 2003 with Dan Wood. She is a Principal of the firm as well as a Professor and Dean Emeritus at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), where she recently served as an Advisor on the University’s Climate Initiatives and for the newly-launched Climate School. Andraos is recognized as a thought leader, contributing widely to the field through her lectures and writings. Her publications include The Arab City: Architecture and Representation, a critical engagement of contemporary architecture and urbanism in the Middle East. Andraos has served on numerous juries, advisory and selection committees. She currently serves on the board of the Architectural League of New York, and the Advisory Council for the New Museum’s incubator space New Inc, in New York. She is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (HFRAIC).
